Environmental credentials

Infographics is very environmentally aware and responsible in the collection and disposal of waste.

All surplus and off cuts of paper and card are collected for recycling to be used again.

In the production of printing plates Infographics uses no chemistry and is one of the first printing companies to use thermal plate imaging in South Wales.

All ink and soiled rags are collected for breaking down to environmentally harmless chemicals and once cleaned the rags are returned for re-use.

The Aluminium printing plates are resold back to the supplier for smelting down and re-use as are ink tins and plastic containers.

The printing industry is not responsible for the destruction of the rain forests. The wood in these forests are predominantly hard woods which are not suitable for paper making. The majority of the wood pulp comes from managed forests that are harvested and sustained, just as any other crop.
