Every business or organisation is driven by something, be it market, product, service or systems.
I would say Infographics is predominatly service driven in as much that our customers are usually concerned with speed, convenience and most of all reliability.
Quality these days is a given, so while this is important it is also expected without question.

Infographics work force give their very best, day in, day out to make sure that what is needed is produced.
What we give is rock solid reliability and try our very best to make sure you can rely on us to make your lives a little easier.

We are always looking to make 1% savings, 1% improvements towards making your task more achievable.
We’re not a company to make a fuss about things, so when things don’t go to plan we remain calm and find a way to quickly put plan B into action.

One major compliment I can give to all who work for Infographics is that they care about what they do and what they produce.
You can feel sure that we always give our best.

We would love to have feed back and hear comments on how we can make life even easier for you.

Check carefully when proofing.

by printing on January 28, 2012

Here at Infographics we have our own in house design studio. I would guess on average we create 4 or 5 new pieces of new artwork every day.
Some of the files are pretty straight forward and may contain very little text but even these have to be checked very carefully.
We do our very best to eradicate errors and have a good look over the new artwork to make sure everything is correct and as it should be, but we always pass the files back to the customer in a PDF format to have the final say.
The reason for this is two fold, firstly customers will pick up on incorrect contact details and technical details relating to their own work and secondly the end user knows how they want the artwork to be.
We ask that not just the text is checked but also the layout, positioning, page sequence, colour etc is check over very thoroughly.
If a printed proof is required then with digital print this is very easy and can be done with very little cost and will be as the finished work but if the work is going to be litho printed the proof will be exact in terms of content but as far as colour is concerned it will be close but never spot on as different substrates will be used.
Proofing must be as thorough as is possible and the more people that check the less chance of an error.
Print is personal and cannot be reused or resold if it’s wrong so make sure it’s right first time !

Check carefully when proofing.

Why colour changes so much

December 4, 2011

One of the most common comments we hear is that “the colour printed doesn’t look like that on my screen”. Well the reason for this is that colours look different on all screens and vary considerably by which ever method they are printed. If printed by litho on an uncoated stock the colour will generally [...]
